NZ'S FIRST WORLD WAR CENTENARY 2014–2019

'Follow Their Journeys' Ngā Tapuwae animated video series

A series of animated videos released in the lead-up to Anzac Day 2017 exploring some of the personal stories from Ngā Tapuwae Western Front trails.

Ngā Tapuwae New Zealand First World War Trails is an interactive digital experience that guides people through historic landscapes and sites of significance to New Zealanders.

A selection of personal stories from Ngā Tapuwae Western Front have been brought to life through a series of short animated videos, inviting you to follow their journeys online.

The videos highlight the different perspectives and experiences New Zealanders had during the war; from willing participants and conscientious objectors, to the destruction and unexpected beauty seen on the Western Front, to the longing for home and loved ones.

Catch the videos as they're released at https://www.youtube.com/user/WW100nz/videos
