Gallipoli, From Tauranga to the Trenches - Mobile Exhibition

Gallipoli, From Tauranga to the Trenches is the second exhibition from the Tauranga Heritage Collection commemorating the First World War.

Inside Gallipoli, From Tauranga to the Trenches, mobile exhibition containers at Classic Flyers 2015.

Gallipoli, From Tauranga to the Trenches mobile exhibition focuses specifically on the Gallipoli campaign and provides information, photographs and objects which capture various daily undertakings of those men that were positioned at Gallipoli. The exhibition, put together by the Tauranga Heritage Collection and WW100 Tauranga, was initially placed at the Masonic Park site and then relocated to Classic Flyers as part of a larger First World War exhibition created by Metro Marketing. It opened on Anzac Day and was free to the community for a month. The containers then made their first visit to Te Puke where they were looked after by the Te Puke Library.
