Otago Regional Peace Day Celebration: A commemoration of peace and the end of the war

A community family day of activities, entertainment, games and workshops to commemorate peace and the end of the First World War.

The Otago Regional Peace Day Celebrations will focus on the impact of the First World War on New Zealand families, particularly the activities of the women and children left behind. The community celebration will be themed around peace, reflecting and mirroring the celebrations and commemorations of the time.
