NZ'S FIRST WORLD WAR CENTENARY 2014–2019

Reflection performance in Otaki

Reflection is a 20 minute site-specific performance to be held at Memorial Park, Otaki on 12-13 April 2014. This park contains one of the Cenotaphs in Otaki which will be a focus of the work.

Choreographer/ Producer Jamie Bull is creating this work using members of the Otaki Community - with all who want to be involved, being involved. A work created by the community for the community, Reflection is a stand alone work, which also serves as a prelude to performances in Civic Theatre of The Armed Man by Crow's Feet. Content includes Honouring The Dead from this region

Acoustic sound being prepared by Fran Tull and Ann-Marie Stapp. Costuming by Jane Woodhall.

Thanks are due to Plunket for the reduced rental for their rooms, and Otaki College and All Saints Church for their very practical support.

Supported by KCDC Creative Communities and Wellington Community Trust.
