Shared Memories commemoration

St Peter's College and College Jacques Monod, France, will commemorate the beginning of the Western Front war with readings from letters, poetry, and singing. 1 July 2016, 11 am-12 pm. 

As part of the Shared Histories project, St Peter's College Epsom and College Jacques Monod from Compiegne in France have been working over the last  two years on a shared wiki about their ancestors who fought on the Western Front: http://shared-memories.wikia.com/wiki/Main_Page

The students have researched their great grandparents and other relatives. They have also created other original works - poetry and art.

The two schools will be visiting one another. College Jacques Monod to New Zealand in 2016, St Peter's College to France in 2017.

On 1 July 2016 at 11 am, the schools will commemorate the beginning of the Western Front war with readings from letters, poetry, and singing. Duration 1 hour.
