The New Zealand War Graves Trust, in association with the Auckland War Memorial Museum are creating a photographic archive of the war graves of all New Zealanders from 1899 to the present day.

In recognition of Taranaki's First World War soldiers, the New Plymouth RSA organised to construct a memorial statue near the town's waterfront, to be unveiled on Armistice Day 2018.
