Anzac Day Centenary in Bermuda

Bermuda commemorates the centenary of the Gallipoli landings on 25 April 2015 with a dawn service, an afternoon commemoration for an NZEF Private, and an Anzac dinner.

A Dawn Service will be held on Coral Beach, South Shore in Bermuda on 25 April 2015. This will be followed by a BBQ breakfast on the beach and activities.
At around 6.00 pm, there will be a ceremony at St George's in Bermuda, for the commemoration of an NZEF Private buried in the Military Cemetery there, as well as a Scottish Soldier who was awarded a VC for assisting the Anzac landings and the wounded. This service will be led by His Excellency, The Governor of Bermuda, Mr George Fergusson, former British High Commissioner to New Zealand and Samoa (2006-2010).
