Digitisation of Ngāruawāhia's WW1 records

Creating a slide show presentation featuring the records of 213 soldiers who left Ngāruawāhia for the First World War. Completed in time for the centenary of the Gallipoli landing, 25 April 2015.

All of the records researched for the Fields of Remembrance Project for Ngāruawāhia are going to be put into a Powerpoint presentation together with music and voice overs. We are including all servicemen who left our area along with those who died overseas. A total of 213 soldiers. This should be completed for Anzac Day 2015, where it will be played by the local Returned Services Association. Copies of the resource will be provided to National Archives, Waikato District Council and Ngāruawāhia RSA.
