Ferrymead Military Display

Ferrymead Heritage Park is working closely with MAG (Military Adventure Group) to plan a large-scale military display to commemorate the First World War centenary.

Ferrymead Military Display April 25th - 27th

Anzac 2014 25-27 April will see the Ferrymead heritage park undergo a transformation to become a wartime era township.
The display will include items ranging from the First World War through to modern day, from a number of different countries.
Attractions will include military vehicle displays; military weapons displays; military uniforms displays; replica anderson air raid shelter walkthrough display; replica First World War trench walkthrough display; military model competition, military art competition, themed troop train; photos and military decorations; battle simulations.
Some of the displays are interactive, take the time to read personal war stories and leave a note on the wall of remembrance.
