If you're a poet... competition

To commemorate the First World War, entries in the Kāpiti Coast District Libraries' Poetry Competition must relate to the theme of ‘War & Peace’. Entries close 1 August 2014

To commemorate the centenary of the First World War, the theme for Kāpiti Coast District Libraries' second annual poetry competition is: War & Peace
Poets are invited to freely interpret this theme - which could refer to a time, a place, a person, a feeling or something completely different. Be inspired by the war poets or take your own direction.
Entries must be received by 1 August 2014.
Winners will be announced on National Poetry Day, 22 August 2014, at a special First World War poetry reading and open mic event to be held at Paraparaumu Library.
