Cook Islands Soldiers before departure from Rarotonga
A commemorative service in recognition of the contributions of the Cook Islands soldiers who enlisted in the New Zealand Army during the First World War will be held on Sunday 24 April 2016 at Mungavin Hall in Porirua. The service will begin at 5 p.m.
A roll call of the soldiers that enlisted will be read out during the service and family members of the soldiers will be asked to lay a poppy in recognition of the sacrifices their ancestors made.
