Armistice 100 An End to War? Nelson Street Event

"Armistice 100 - An End to War?" is a public street event on 11 November 2018 organsied by Nelson City Council to commemorate and celebrate the end of the First World War.

Rededication of the Nelson Cenotaph

Of the 3600 men and women of Nelson Province who served in the First World War a total of 680 died as a direct result of the war. Currently 93 of them are remembered on the Anzac Park Cenotaph.
