Displays of written material, photos and artefacts relating to Prebbleton, Canterbury, and its contribution to the First World War.

Displays of photos and information about men with Prebbleton connections (83 so far) who joined the New Zealand Army & photos of the overseas cemeteries when 23 of them are buried. Displays also show the contribution of those left behind, list of 'aliens', horses that went, list of reserves, diaries/letters transcribed. We have relics of P.O.W camp existence, food parcels, medals, knitted items. On loan we have a 1915 Triumph motorbike which was one used by despatch riders.
The displays will be in the Prebbleton Public Hall, 617 Springs Road, Prebbleton 4 p.m. over Anzac weekend, 25th 26th, & 27th April 2014 and will be updated each year until 2018.
