The Catlins and The Great War 1914-1918 Book Launch

This book launch commemorates the 100th anniversary of the end of the First World War. The authors have compiled a roll call of 424 Catlins soldiers, telling their stories for the first time.

The authors have compiled a roll call of 424 Catlins soldiers, telling their stories for the first time; those who died and those who survived, and the devastating effect of the influenza epidemic that followed.

The book launch will be held at the Owaka Memorial Community Centre on Saturday 10 November from 4.00pm - 6.30pm. Speakers will be Clutha District Mayor, Bryan Cadogan and Lieutenant Colonel Magnus Latta.

Books are $45.00 each (sorry, no eftpos available). If you are unable to attend on the day, we can post it to you for $7.00 postage.
